Timeline

6 Weeks

Ripple had a simple request that proved to be an exciting design challenge. We're launching a brand new site that showcases our rebrand. We need a microsite until we're ready to launch our full-scale website.

The Process

Discovery Phase

Design Research

Held extensive interviews with internal creative and business leads within Ripple to understand not only the primary function of their business models but the nuances and intricacies of the new branding guidelines we would be working within.

An interesting challenge that came from these interviews was representing the new brand, but also generisizing it and pairing it down enough so as to not spoil the big brand reveal coming in just a few months.

Describe Phase

Client Readout

Sent written documentation over to client stakeholders summarizing and highlighting the key takeaways from our discovery interviews and compiling a list of action items for them to sign off on and approve.

Design Phase

Branding Guidelines

Co-defined altered brand guidelines and design system with the client based on internal materials not yet released to the public.

UX Wireframing

Created wires based on client interviews and existing design system limitations and validated designs with the client.

Design & Prototyping

Component library creation, full-page mock-ups, and prototypes of originally defined wires.

QA & Launch

Conducted thorough QA with developers identifying all bugs and code descrepancies for all breakpoints, screen sizes and browsers before launching.
